Utterly Otterly Day Book ïDownload ´ Tushnahram Utterly Otterly DayOtters are my favorite animal and I will happily add this book to my collection I enjoyed the adorable illustrations and that the otters weren't heavily gendered in presentation; they all look like otters and there isn't the girls have eyelashes and boys don't nonsense This also makes it easier for me to change papa to mom and have a same sex otter parenting duo for my family to hear about

Utterly Otterly Day Book ïDownload ´ Tushnahram Utterly Otterly DayThis book just made me smile It started with the pun an utterly otterly day and then I went for the absolutely adorable illustrations This is a perfect book for those young ones who are independent and have a yearning for adventure They might be big kids now but even if we are independent we will always have our loved ones at our back watching out for us It is definitely a book to reread and I cannot wait to use this one in one of my story times

Utterly Otterly Day Book ïDownload ´ Tushnahram Utterly Otterly DayI plan to include this book in my classroom library The illustrations are magnificent and I think it will be relateable to a lot of children who are eager to grow up and part ways from their parents I might ask my students to do a free write of a time that they were scared or put in a situation where they got separated from their parents

Utterly Otterly Day Book ïDownload ´ Tushnahram Utterly Otterly DayWhat a cute little book It is a great piece of literature depicting to kids how there are some things in your life in which you can do independently but then there are still some parts in which you should rely on what your mother and father say You parents want to keep you safe that is why they set ground rules and tell you whether or not you can do certain activities I would use this book to discuss safety to kids and how they should listen to people in charge about everyday situations One aspect that I really enjoyed about this book is that they didn't use a typical animal such as a bear or a bird An otter is of an unusual animal and it was refreshing to see the otter used in this book I would recommend this book for grades 2nd through 5th

Utterly Otterly Day Book ïDownload ´ Tushnahram Utterly Otterly DayI'd like to give it 3 12 stars The artwork is terrific and I like the story but the rhythm of the text kind of well it has a bit of an arrhythmia if you ask me The Rosie's Walk style joke of Little Otter not being aware of the danger all around him has its limits tooCute but not cute enough to be worth a full 4 stars
